Amnesty International. Contains Annual Reports 1993-1998. The 1998 Regional Summary on Europe includes European human rights violations, which are also available as Press Releases.

The European Commission's External Relations website includes a section on the EU's Human Rights Policy.

European Centre for Minority Issues ECMI´s aim is to promote interdisciplinary research on various dimensions of minority-majority relations in a European perspective, and to contribute to the
improvement of inter-ethnic relations in those parts of Western and Eastern Europe where ethnopolitical tension and conflict prevail. Includes publication information, links, and an Enriched Links Database which is searchable in 13 subject categories.

U.S. Department of State Country Reports on Human Rights Practices for 1998. Reports for 1996 and 1997 are also available.

Balkan Human Rights Pages (administered by the Greek Helsinki Monitor & Minority Rights Group) Contains up-to-date news, contents by country, and links to organizations.

Commission on Security and Cooperation in Europe (Helsinki Commission)

Council of Europe Human Rights Web, based in Strasbourg, contains documentation, full text of conventions, and links.

Human Rights Watch, dedicated to protecting the human rights of people around the world.

International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia, based in The Hague. Contains basic legal documents, tribunal cases and publications, press releases and statements, and the latest documents and news.

Initiative on Conflict Resolution & Ethnicity (INCORE), based at the University of Ulster. Produced the Ethnic Conflict Research Digest, the Conflict Data Service, and much more.

Minority/Endangered Language Links. Includes European minority (or minoritized) languages. From the University of Tokyo Department of Asian and Pacific Linguistics Institute of Cross-Cultural Studies.

Office for National and Ethnic Minorities in Hungary. Contains bilateral and international documents, information on Hungary in particular, and links to both national and international organizations.
