BUBL Journals
BUBL is the "Bulletin Board for Libraries" (UK) All information in BUBL Journals is freely available to all users without registration and without the need for any software other than a WWW browser. Since BUBL began way back in 1990, an important part of its service has been the provision of electronic newsletters, journals, abstracts, and tables of contents. These have now been brought together into the distinct BUBL Journals service. The content is organised so that all titles that are no longer issued or no longer received by BUBL have been stored away in the BUBL Archive. This leaves a total of over 200 current titles which have abstracts and tables of contents stored in BUBL Journals. About two thirds of these relate to library and information science. There is also reasonable coverage of titles covering social, medical and business topics. Not all titles are refereed academic journals, as BUBL Journals also holds contents and abstracts from a selection of newsletters and magazines.

Factsheet Five
"Factsheet Five is the closest thing to a central source of information about zines. Each issue of F5 reviews 1,000 to 1,500 zines, with 20 to 25 percent of those reviews being zines that are either brand new to us, or we haven't seen in a long time." The Weirdest! The Coolest! The ones you haven't heard of! "Zines are small press publications with a press run of 15 - 2,500. They often deal with obscure or controversial subjects, or they're about the life of the publisher, or they're about the latest underground muzak sensation. A zine is not defined by its topic so much as its funkiness, its personality and its lack of pretention. It's easier to define what a zine is *not*. They aren't slick, they aren't professional (although some of the best publisher *do* pay a lot of attention to detail and presentation) and they don't make a profit."

InfoJump
Browze zines by title or search for individual articles.

Zine.Net
From the homepage: "Zine.Net is THE resource on the Internet for information on the vast assortment of independent, self-published zines. It serves as a centralized starting point for both zines created on our server as well as pointers to existing zine sites. Our goal is unique in that we want to generate sales for printed (hard copy) zines. We sincerely believe the most effective method for doing this is by allowing a reader to SAMPLE BEFORE THEY BUY. This will be in the form of choosing a couple of selections from a zine, converting them to world-wide-web format, HTML, and then making them available for reading from our Internet site, Zine.Net."
