From the National Agriculture Library (NAL), part of the USDA. Scope of coverage: agriculture and allied disciplines, including plant and animal sciences, forestry, entomology, aquaculture, soil and water resources, agricultural economics, agricultural engineering, agricultural products, alternative farming practices, and food and nutrition. Available in two parts:

Indexes and abstracts articles and documents in marine and freshwater science from 900 journals, books, conference proceedings, technical reports, and more. 1978-present.

Arctic & Antarctic Regions
Indexes & abstracts over 800,000 records on polar and non-polar cold regions. AAR is a multidisciplinary composite of international polar databases including the Antarctic Bibliography. AAR goes back to 1800 and earlier depending on the component database and indexes periodicals, books, conference proceedings, reports, and theses/dissertations.

BIOETHICSLINE
From the National Library of Medicine's Internet Grateful Med service. Scope of coverage: ethics and related public policy issues in health care and biomedical research. Covers journal articles, book chapters, court decisions, and more.
1973 - present. Updated bimonthly.

BIOSIS Previews

From the National Cancer Institute. Scope of coverage: cancer and oncology. Covers biomedical journals, proceedings, books, reports, and doctoral theses.
1963 - present. Updated monthly. Users can also browse the last few months' retrieval on several dozen automatically-run searches which cover "hot" topics.

Computer Articles Database (COMP)
Indexes and abstracts the consumer- and business-oriented magazines on this complete list. For journals on this shorter list, also provides the full text of articles. 1988-present.

Indexes the 6,500 highly-cited scholarly journals named by these alphabetical and topical lists. No abstracts or subject indexing. Updated weekly. July 1989-present.

Current Index to Statistics (CIS)
For the fields of statistics and probability, CIS indexes more than 130,000 articles published since 1974. It also indexes IMS journals beginning with 1960 issues, Journal of the American Statistical Association beginning with 1955 issues, and all issues of The American Statistician and Technometrics.

Indexes journal articles, conference papers, books, book reviews, and dissertations relating to the history of science. Updated annually. 1976-present.

Inside Information (JRNLE)
Indexes current research journals and conferences in science and technology. 1993-present.

Marine, Oceanographic & Freshwater Resources
Indexes & sometimes abstracts over 875,000 records on international marine and oceanic information, as well as substantial coverage of estuarine, brackishwater, and freshwater environments. MOFR's chief assets compared to Aquatic Sciences & Fisheries Abstracts are its more thorough coverage of oceanography as well as its more retrospective coverage (ASFA only covers 1978+). MOFR is a composite of mostly oceanographic databases consisting of: Oceanic Abstracts (1964-present); IOS-DL/POL Database (1985-1996); OCEANIS Database (1985-present); BIDLIB Database (1997-present) on physical oceanography; PML Database (1979-present) on worldwide marine & estuarine pollution; GeoArchive (1970-present) subset; NOAA Library collection (1807-present); Sea Grant Abstracts (1968-present); and various databases on Long Island Sound, Gulf of California, Chesapeake Bay, and Biscayne Bay. MOFR also contains ASFA Parts 2 & 3 on pollution, ocean technology, ocean management and policy, and non-living aspects of the ocean like physical and chemical oceanography, marine geophysics, etc.
