Selected Resources in Occupational and Environmental Health
- UCSD Environmental Health & Safety MSDS Page
- Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) provide a ready reference for the physical and hazardous
properties of laboratory and industrial chemicals. A good knowledge of chemical properties may increase
the likelihood of success for an experiment and will allow the research to be conducted in a safer manner.
Review the MSDS before starting work with a new chemical.
- Cornell University MSDS Database
- The 325,000 MSDS files contained in this database are derived from the CD-ROM version of the
U.S. Government Department of Defense MSDS database. A mirror of some of the information is maintained
at the Vermont SIRI Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) Collection. This site is maintained by Cornell
University Environmental Health and Safety and Other Cornell departments.
