- Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine
- The Centre has been established in Oxford as the first of several centers around the country
whose aim broadly is to promote evidence-based health care and provide support and resources to
anyone who wants to make use of them. They're in collaboration with the Cochrane group.
This is a very good 'one-stop' shop and a nice starting point for all of us who are new
to this subject. Full-text of the article, "Evidence-Based Medicine: What it is and
what it isn't" is available.

- Abstracts of Reviews of Effectiveness from the ACP Journal Club and other sources
These provide analyses of the effectiveness of specific medical interventions.
The Cochrane Library is one of the premier tools for practitioners of Evidence-Based Health Care.

- Evidence-Based Medicine: McMaster University
- This site is maintained by the Evidence Based Informatics Project, a
subgroup of the Evidence Based Medicine Working Group at McMaster
University in Canada. It uses a system called HIREx to run the
Infoward Resource Executive, a java scripted database and document
management program. Select "Inventory" from the left sidebar, this
selection starts the Infoward program then use the tabs at the top of
the event screen.
- Bandolier
- Bandolier is produced monthly in Oxford for the NHS R&D Directorate.
It contains bullet points (hence Bandolier) of evidence-based
medicine. The executive editor is Andrew Moore, with Henry McQuay and
Muir Gray. Internet access is currently free. However, subscription to
the printed version of Bandolier costs £36 per year (UK) and £72
overseas (subscriptions and back numbers).
